MAURITIUS ISLAND Mauritius Island is located in the Indian Ocean near the Reunion Island, has a surface of 2,040 km2 and 1,130,000 habitants.The capital is Port Louis and the official language is English. However , Creole and French are spoken elsewhere on the island. The currency is the Mauritian rupee.
